After decades working in the industry and building an unmatched reputation for skill and honesty, he founded Craig’s Automotive in 2018 with a simple idea: give people honest answers, do the job right the first time, and stand behind your work.

What started as a small shop has grown into one of Amarillo’s most trusted and technologically advanced automotive repair facilities — trusted by individual customers, fleet operators, the City of Amarillo, and major energy companies alike.

1989 – Craig Enters the Trade

Craig Jackson begins his automotive career in Amarillo — developing the hands-on expertise, diagnostic instincts, and commitment to honest service that would define everything that followed.

2000s = A Reputation Built Over Decades

Through years in the industry, Craig built an Amarillo-wide reputation for honesty, precision, and the ability to diagnose what other shops couldn’t — earning loyal customers across the city and region.

2018 – Craig’s Automotive Opens

After nearly three decades in the trade, Craig opens Craig’s Automotive — his own shop, built entirely on his terms. From day one, it was designed to be different: honest quotes, expert technicians, and a warranty that meant something.

2023 – New State-of-the-Art Facility

Craig’s moves to a brand new facility at 3801 Business Park Drive — purpose-built with 8 bays, modern equipment, and the infrastructure to serve Amarillo’s evolving automotive needs.

TODAY – Powered by MechFlow

Craig’s Automotive adopts MechFlow — a next-generation shop management platform — delivering digital inspections, real-time status updates, and a fully modern customer experience.
